ProfileCrest is an independent open-source web application designed and maintained by CodeCrest Studio. ProfileCrest is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with GitHub, Inc., Microsoft Corporation, or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries.

The official GitHub website is located at github.com. The name “GitHub” as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of GitHub, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation.

2. Third-Party Trademarks & Logos

All product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks displayed within ProfileCrest (including in tech stack selection menus, badge libraries, and tutorials) are property of their respective owners. These include, but are not limited to:

• Shields.io: Provided by the open-source community at shields.io.
• Spotify & Discord: Trademarks of Spotify AB and Discord Inc. respectively. Live status cards leverage public community APIs such as Lanyard.
• WakaTime: Trademark of WakaTime Inc.
• Payment Gateways: Razorpay is a trademark of Razorpay Software Private Limited.

The display of these trademarks does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by their respective trademark holders.

3. Third-Party APIs & Dynamic Card Uptime

ProfileCrest compiles standard Markdown markup that links to dynamic third-party services (such as GitHub Readme Stats, GitHub Streak Stats, Profile Trophies, and Shields.io).

While ProfileCrest generates compliant, tested URLs, CodeCrest Studio does not operate, monitor, or guarantee the uptime, performance, or rate limits of external third-party servers. If a third-party service experiences downtime or API rate limiting from GitHub, the respective widget or image card may temporarily fail to render on your profile.

4. “As Is” Warranty Disclaimer

The ProfileCrest application, tutorials, documentation, and generated code are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

CodeCrest Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this service, or from any changes GitHub may introduce to its profile layout, markdown rendering engine, or user policies.
